HOPE House Cafe

A warm welcoming community space in Guelph.

Positive relationships are vital to our health and happiness. Friendships shelter us in times of need. Kind words and laughter can break through feelings of isolation.

Without these types of relationships, a person’s wellbeing can suffer and loneliness can affect your longevity.

Hope Hope operates and advocates on the belief that poverty, food insecurity, inequality, health and community are interconnected. Our café is a warm place where everyone in our community can enjoy a warm beverage and build healthy relationships with others.
These types of connections can be instrumental in lifting people out of poverty.

Over the years, we’ve watched community members from all walks of life bond and form wonderful friendships in our café – and we look forward to seeing many more.

Our beautiful tables and chairs were purchased thanks to support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

What’s on the menu?

Thanks to our generous friends and COBS Bread, the cafe now serves delicious baked goods straight out of the oven.
